ABBA Early Childhood
Center is a secure facility. Each family
who enrolls receives a code to enter the building.
We have six classrooms. The Infant and Toddler classrooms are on the
main floor. The One/Twos, Twos, Threes and Fours/Fives Classrooms as
well as our gym and kitchen are located on the lower level.
Each classroom is
equipped with toys and
learning activities which are appropriate for the age of the children.
Toys and activities are changed periodically to allow children to
explore new things.
Our gym offers a large open area where the children can play when the
weather does not allow us to go outside. Tumbling mats allow the
children to fall on a soft surface. We have blocks, balls, dinosaurs,
roads, cars, scooters, hula hoops, an inflatable bouncer and parachutes
which are all brought out at various times.
Our fully fenced playground offers a variety of equipment to encourage
the physical development of children as well as exploration. Our sound
wall allows them to experiment with making music. Our sand tables
provide experience in pouring and measuring. Large blocks allow for
building. Bikes and riding toys encourage coordination. The obstacle
course helps to improve their balance. Our play houses and picnic
tables offer places for pretend and role play.
