ABBA Early Childhood Center has been serving Glendale Heights and the surrounding area since 1992.
With a 2 star rating from the Quality Rating System our center exceeds
state licensing requirements.
We believe that children learn
through play and we offer them with a wide variety of experiences to
learn each day. We encourage independence, problem solving, and
individuality. Our program serves children with a wide variety of
abilities and from differing socioeconomic, ethnic, religious and
cultural backgrounds. Learning about Jesus is woven throughout the day
through Bible stories, songs, prayers, and getting along with one
another.
Our staff strives to treat each child as a treasured child of God. Over
half of our lead teachers have bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood
education. We have a stable, experienced staff who are passionate about
early childhood education.
We bring in special guests or take walking field trips each month to
further stimulate children in learning. Examples of some these
activities include trips to the fire station, puppet shows, or
special gymnastics programs. Special guests also lead us in chapel each
week.
We also hold periodic family events so that the extended family can
experience life in the center first hand.
Parents are kept updated by weekly newsletters and can follow updates
on Facebook. They are also welcome to call and visit the center at any
time.
